Mums and Tea started back in 2017 out of my desire to make mummy friends.

I was the first one out of my close friends to have a baby and I knew I didn’t want to be alone. I had the first meet up while I was 8 months pregnant and over the years I have been able to connect 100’s of mothers together face to face through various events (pre covid of course).

Having mummy friends is not just important, but an absolute must. Motherhood can be lonely at the best of times. Add a pandemic and various lockdowns to that mix and its even harder. I gave birth to my second child through the first lockdown in April 2020 and it was a struggle to connect with mums face to face because of the pandemic - so I have been trying to connect us all online because we have no other choice in this current climate.
And the result of this? We are FINALLY have our own online space!
I’m so fulfilled that Mums and Tea is doing what I set out to do in the beginning - connect mums - and I’m excited for our future. I always say that Mums and Tea is nothing without the mums, so thank you all for being a part of this journey.
