Warrior (Stretch) Marks

There's nothing I didn't do to "avoid" getting stretch marks during my pregnancy!

From the second I found out I was pregnant, I used all the oils, balms, potions and lotions (twice a day can I add) to make sure I didn't have any stretch marks and for the best part of my pregnancy it worked. Until the last bit of the third trimester.

I literally got them all over the lower part of my tummy and there was nothing I could have done to stop it. If you are going to get them, you will get them and that's that.

I found it so annoying that I did everything to stop it and they still came while some people don't even do anything to stop them and they don't even come.

Everybody and every pregnancy really is different.

Just remember how much your body is changing to accommodate a whole other human!!

2 months later and after losing so much weight breastfeeding, I look down at my belly and see the stretch marks as a "badge of honour". I carried a life in there!

Mummy's and mummy's to be, don't ever be ashamed of your stretch marks and be proud of them. Let them be a reminder of the gift of life and the small price you have to pay to have your wonderful bundle of joy in your arms.
